Security In the Lord And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thy, Lord, has not forsaken them that seek thee. Psalm 9:10 Dear Lord, When I look at the state of things around me and see how many things are so drastically wrong, I am able to see that it is You that hold me, and You that keep me. You are my provider, You are my strength, You only- Father, are my security. Monday The Reward Then shall the light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward. Isaiah 58:8 Father, You promised me wonderful rewards when I am loving. You said I will be "like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters will not fail." Good health will come to me I will have a good reputation, and I will live a life of righteousness. Remind me of this the next time I pass up an opportunity to show love. Guide me where I should invest my efforts, so that I may bring glory to Your name. Tuesday Peace The Lord gives His people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. Psalm 29:11 Without you Lord, my life would be miserable. Turmoil, doubt, fear and confusion would take the place of Your serenity, strength, peace and assurance. But with You, my soul is calm. I am confident and I trust You for everyday of my future. You meet all my need, thank You. You are a wonderful Father. Wednesday Jesus,The Overcomer "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33 (NIV) When I face the enemy, Jesus, I can still have peace. Not in my own strength, but in Yours. You are able and willing to overcome everything I face today and everyday. Thank You Jesus for giving me the victory that overcomes the world, through my faith in You. Thursday Count your blessings Enter into His gate with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4 Dear Lord, thank You for You have given me good health, a warm family life, total prosperity, and a peaceful heart. You have given me spiritual strength and assurance in the times of trouble. Help me to appreciate all you have given me. Let me focus on what You have done for me by rejoicing in my daily blessings in spite of life's challenges. Friday Making Mistakes As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 Father, I am always making mistakes. Sometimes I even judge your righteous judgments and sin against You. Within my own power, I can not help but make wrong choices; I need You Jesus to guide me in the path of righteousness: and when I fall short, error or sin; to blot out all of my transgressions. When You remove them they are gone forever. Thank You for removing them entirely, so they no longer exist against me. Saturday Answered Prayer " And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22 (NKJV) Lord, You have opened heaven's treasures to me through these few words, I see exactly how much I am loved. Help me to ask for the right things, and give me the faith to believe I shall receive them. |
