Start your prayer in a state of humbleness. Reverence the name of the Lord. Express what you are feeling or experiencing to Him as His dear child. Be open and honest but do not forget you are speaking to the Lord God Almighty who is always due honor and respect from His children. Listen to Him; His counsel, His guidance, His will for your life. Don't read anything into it, He will share what He feels. Just listen. Thank Him for His goodness and His mercy toward you. Keep His Word in your heart, so you won't err from His will.

REPENTANCE MEANS TURNING TO GOD. Since you have now recognized the error of your ways, Start by confessing your sins to God. Be honest with yourself and Him (He already knows) the confession is your way of acknowledging you have went against the Lord and have a willingness to get it right. Bible declares when we confess our sins to God, He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The mind to do right is first step. You will need to ask the Lord for help because you can not keep yourself from sinning without His help.
